Selassie Ibrahim is a popular Ghanaian actress, film producer, entrepreneur and the CEO Smarttys Management and production.
She was born on May 19, in Accra, Ghana where she had her primary and secondary education respectively.
Selassie Ibrahim made her screen debut in the 90s with the movie “My Sweetie”, a movie she starred alongside Grace Omaboe and MC- Jordan Amatefio.
The movie was very successful and shot her to limelight and made her a household name in the Ghanaian movie industry.
Selassie has so far featured in several Ghanaian movies and television series including:

Most recently, Selassie released her movie, ’40 Looks Good On You’. The movie was first shown at the Silver Bird cinema and West Hill Mall in Accra.
The movie which was very successful with huge commercial sales centre around five best friends (Yaaba, Stacy, Mawusi, Ruth and Araaba) who were determined to succeed in life before they hit the age of 40 when they were in the university.
They decided to do anything possible to make it happen even by taking to the shortest possible cut to life. They all gave a plan for their relationships, career, lives etc but they were in for a surprise as life threw each of them a curveball even though they figured it all out.
The movie was premiered on 21 June, 2019 was directed by Pascal Amanfo and featured top Nollywood and Ghallywood celebrities like Freddie Leonard, Uche Jombo, John Dumelo, Shafy Bello and Roselyn Ngissah in her movie “40 looks Good on You”.
Selassie is also a movie producer. In 2015, she produced her first movie which featured Nadia Buari, James Gardner, Desmond Elliot, Roselyn Ngissah.
In 2017, she produced a television series which was directed by Desmond Elliott dubbed Entrapped and it was shown on African Magic showcase, EbonyLifeTV and TV3 Network in Ghana.
Selassie Ibrahim is the Executive Director of Jabneel Impact, a non-governmental organization that caters for the welfare of the less privileged, orphans and widows in the society.
Selassie is also the CEO of Smarttys Management and Productions, a business entity that specializes in adverts, documentaries, movie production, magazines, public relations and consultancy services.
